Apple makes touchscreen, could it be the new iPod?

Apple secrets are leaked again as they have just patented a smart touchscreen technology that could be used for a tablet pc or a new iPod.

Who knows what could be in store for this patent, it could be used by a finger or stylus. The next step for the iPod, I believe, is to make a PDA, but we don’t even know if its for an iPod or if Apple is experimenting with tablets or pocket pc’s.

The patent was filed in late December of 2005, so if Apple works as they have in the past with their patents, we should see something by early 2007.
