Wii reservations pushed back…

I just got off the phone with a manager at Electronic Boutiques (EB) who recently returned from a gaming conference with all the big wigs. I have talked a lot about the Wii and even put a game on reserve, but I was told today I could reserve myself a system.

The manager said Wii is the coolest thing he has seen in a while and advised me to reserve some more games because the system should not be hard to get. He said Nintendo gave EB no notice of when to start taking reservations (neither did Sony), but said they will have playable demos at the end of October.

Looks like I will still have to anticipate picking up a system, but the manager did say that Reggie and Nintendo are way ahead of schedule in production and that getting a system should be a breeze, even if I do not get one on launch (which I assure you, I will).
